Where we build

Golden Mile & Sierra Blanca

Radical transformation of existing luxury houses, and new builds on consolidated plots.

About this area

The Golden Mile and Sierra Blanca are Marbella’s historic luxury core. Work here is often a radical transformation of an existing house, or a new build on a consolidated plot — not a greenfield on open hillside. The prestige is real; so is the fabric behind the last decade of decorative finishes. Renovation projects frequently uncover outdated infrastructure buried under marble and joinery: fuse boards, galvanised pipe, walls from before insulation was taken seriously. Uncovering and resolving those systems while keeping the architectural character of the house is a technically delicate task. We take on whole properties only, executed by our own trades, with one technical lead from demolition to handover. Cascada de Camoján sits in the same belt. Houses there are defined by the mountain backdrop and the views over Marbella. Contemporary work tends toward large glass, clean cantilevers and minimalist concrete — all of which demand controlled structural execution. Proximity to the mountain also creates moisture-management requirements that affect how substructures and façades are detailed. Nagüeles shares the same expectation of surgical precision in an occupied, high-value streetscape. We have deep knowledge of the urban regulations and topography of these enclaves. The difference between a successful project and a problematic one is decided before day one on site: a survey that finds the old services, a sequence that keeps the house dry, and a team that does not hand the wet rooms to a stranger.

Generic copy says “radical transformation of existing luxury houses.” What that means on the Golden Mile is opening a finished villa and finding pre-insulation walls and galvanised pipe — then rebuilding envelope, installations and wet rooms without losing the character that made the house worth buying.
